Nina Christopher, Ph.D, Founder

Nina is a management psychologist with 20+ years of experience advising C-suite leaders, boards, investors and family businesses. She has been instrumental in enhancing the performance of senior leaders and their management teams from start-ups to the Fortune 500. Nina has partnered with a dynamic mix of clients including Best Buy, Campbell’s, CI Capital Partners, Elliot, E*Trade, Citigroup, Cox, Johnson & Johnson, Lippincott, Merck, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, PayPal, Pfizer and Skadden.

Today Nina is leading the firm she founded with the same mission: to position leaders to solve business challenges, create value and drive sustainable growth.

Before founding the Horatio-Rose Group Nina was a Partner and Head of the Assessment and Coaching Practice at Pivot (now a Korn Ferry Company). Nina began her career at RHR International, where as Partner she managed global client engagements in a range of industries including financial services, private equity, pharmaceuticals, biotech, academia and retail. Key areas of focus were C-suite succession, senior team effectiveness, leadership transitions and assessment to drive decision making. Prior to earning her doctorate, Nina worked in clinical research at New York University Medical Center and helped position Flatiron Antiques, a family business, for growth in Europe.

Nina holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University, and received her B.A. in Philosophy from Barnard College, Columbia University where she graduated with distinction. She is a Licensed Psychologist in New York State.
